A semi-private, individualized training environment

TGS Core operates in a semi-private training model.

That means athletes train in a small group, but do not all follow the same program. Each athlete has their own training plan based on their experience, movement ability, and current season.

Coaches are actively coaching the floor. Athletes move through their individual programs while receiving instruction, feedback, and adjustments as needed.

This model allows athletes to train together while still getting individual attention and appropriate progression.

This is fundamentally different from a class-based environment.

TGS Core is built for athletes who:

  • Are ready for individualized programming

  • Can follow a written program with coach guidance

  • Want training that supports their sport year-round

  • Need flexibility around school and practice schedules

How CORE Training Works

Weekly Structure:

Core training is built around a 5 day weekly plan designed to support development while fitting into real family schedules.

Gym Based Training Days:

Most programs prescribe two to three strength training sessions per week that require gym equipment.
The exact number depends on the athlete’s season and training age.

  • In season athletes are typically in the gym twice per week

  • Off season athletes are typically in the gym three times per week

There is no situation where CORE requires five days per week in the gym.

At-Home and Field Based Days:

The remaining training days focus on speed, agility, and movement.
These sessions can be completed at home or on the field without gym equipment.

Coaching and Scheduling Flexibility:

All athletes have access to coached gym sessions when they sign up on our training calendar.
Athletes may also stack speed / movement session with a gym day so both sessions can be coached when schedules allow.

Training App Support:

All workouts are delivered through our training app with clear instructional videos and weight logging so athletes know exactly what to do on every training day.

Our goal is to provide structure without adding stress to family schedules.

What Parents Should Know

Getting started

After enrollment, your athlete will sign up for their first training session. When they arrive, we will introduce ourselves, get them set up in our training app, and guide them through their first workout.

During Training Sessions

Athletes do not use their phones while training at True Grind Systems. We want their focus on movement, coaching, and execution. We provide a workout handout where athletes record their weights during the session and transfer them into the app later.

Managing Sessions

If a session is missed due to school, sports, or travel, athletes can move sessions around inside the app and continue training.

Membership Terms

Training is month to month with no contracts. You can cancel at any time without penalty.

Ongoing Consistency

The goal of CORE training is steady progress over time, not perfect attendance. The program is designed to adapt to real schedules while keeping athletes moving forward.
